A Community Celebration at Whaleback Ski Area, Enfield, NH

Tuesday, Jan. 20th, 5:30PM - 9:00PM:

Upper Valley Haven, Vital Communities, Upper Valley United Way, Enfield Shaker Museum, Sustainable Food Laboratory, Northern Stage, Upper Valley Educators Institute and Upper Valley Land Trust, invite you to celebrate community service! The concept stems from the New England Grassroots Environment Fund (NEGEF)’s response to President-elect Barack Obama’s invitation to: “...join in the work of remaking this nation, the only way it’s been done in America for 221 years: block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.”

We're using the Inauguration to focus on community service in the Upper Valley. Music will be performed by Dr. Burma. Whaleback will be open for skiing. Food has been donated by: Sweet Scoops, Lui Lui, Three Tomatoes Trattoria, The Dirt Cowboy Cafe, Cabot Creamery, The Co-op Food Stores, Panera Bread, Shepard's Pie on the Green and Boloco. The cost is a suggested donation of $5. For more information contact: noradoyle-burr@uvlt.org or (603) 643-6626 ext. 102.
