Grafton Pond Paddle & Loon Watching
Grafton, NH
UVLTs annual Grafton Pond Paddle is an opportunity to explore this protected gem and learn about the loons that raise their young on this beautiful pond year after year. We will learn about the life cycle and habits of the loons before heading out on the water to observe them from a respectful distance. After visiting with the birds, we will offer a leisurely paddle around a portion of this picturesque pond where islands and coves abound. UVLTs annual Grafton Pond paddle was established in memory of Robert Bryant.
Registration required:
Because loons are highly susceptible to human disturbance, particularly while raising chicks, group size is strictly limited. Please respect this precaution and do not bring others who have not pre-registered for this trip.
